Comments:
Kevin is a product of the North Rustico minor hockey system. He started playing as a defenseman in squirts and remained at this position until he switched to goalie in second year Pee Wee. In his second year of midget he played with the Gulf Storm AAA team. In his first year of midget at the AA level, his North Rustico team won the Island Championship despite being seeded 8th going into the final tournament at the APM Centre. Last year he was attending St. Thomas University and did not play hockey although he did play rugby with the varsity team. He transferred to UPEI this year and is in his second year and is majoring in sociology. When he isn�t studying or playing hockey he helps his dad with construction.
Kevin commented about the Flames chances this year� �We have the guns to win but got to keep them firing all at the same time.�
His favorite NHL team is the Toronto Maple Leafs and his favorite NHL player is Martin Brodeur of the New Jersey Devils.
