Chad began his minor hockey career at with North River Minor Hockey Association at the age of 9. He has remained in the NRMHA system all through the years including this year, his third year with the Junior C Flames. One of the highlights of his career was scoring an overtime winning goal in a Summerside Hockey Tournament in 2007.
During the week of Nov. 4th, Chad won the Razzy’s Offensive Player of the week award. He scored hat tricks in two consecutive games.
“We have a similar team to last year and this year we plan to win the Island,” said Fleming, “the new jerseys, especially the road ones are pretty cool”.
His favorite team is the Flames and his favorite players are all Flames. Chad recently completed a program in Corrections at Holland College in Slemon Park.He began working at a provincial correctional facility at Sleepy Hollow in the past month . He hopes to one day enter the RCMP.
