OFFENSIVE Player of the Week - CONNER ANDREWS - Flames

Conner had a hat-trick, including the double-overtime winner, and added an assist as the North River Flames clinched a spot in the finals with a thrilling 6-5 win in Georgetown.  As he did during the regular season, Conner leads the Flames in scoring with seven points in North River's semi-final series victory.

DEFENSIVE Player of the Week - COLIN GAUDETTE - Aces

Colin earned a big road win for the Tignish Perry's Construction Aces as they put the Sherwood Metros on the brink of elimination with a win in Sherwood on Monday night.  He had a busy night, turning aside 36 shots for the victory.  Colin's win was his 11th of the season and he has only one loss, which came in a shootout on November 16th.

February 19th - 25th

OFFENSIVE Player of the Week - ZACK MACKAY - Flames

Zac lead the Flames with two goals and two assists to give them the series lead vs Georgetown Tri County Insulfoam IceDogs.  He scored the short-handed game winning goal in Saturday's win at APM Centre.  Zac will be counted on this weekend as the Flames try to clinch the series and make the finals.

DEFENSIVE Player of the Week - SUMNER DOCHERTY- Metros

The Metros' veteran goalie has been playing great in the playoffs.  This week he had two big wins against the Summerside Cover All Construction Crunch to help the Metros erase a 2-0 series deficit and win their quarter-final series.  His clutch play in the Metros' elimination games was key to helping the team move on.

February 12th - 18th

OFFENSIVE Player of the Week - ALEX MACEACHERN - Metros

The Metros' top faceoff guy has been playing really well in the playoffs.  In game two and three against the Summerside Cover All Construction Crunch, he played on the second unit power-play.  He has been setting up key goals and is the top point-getter thus far in the playoffs.  In game three, he was in on the first two goals to get the Metros offence going and keep them in the series.

DEFENSIVE Player of the Week - SAMMY DOCHERTY - Metros

The Metros' solid defenseman has been playing great lately.  He had two strong games this week against the Crunch.  He was key in killing penalties and provided some offense as well.  He scored the insurance goal to seal the Metros' victory in game three.

February 5th - 11th

OFFENSIVE Player of the Week - DAWSON SELLICK - Aces

Dawson had a four-goal performance and added an assist in the Tignish Perry's Construction Aces season-ending win over Summerside Cover All Construction Crunch on Sunday night.  Dawson finished his third season in the league with 42 points in 22 games.

DEFENSIVE Player of the Week - JEREMIE GODIN - IceDogs

Jeremie helped the Georgetown Tri-County Insulfoam IceDogs to a convincing win in their final regular season game of their inaugural season.  The first-year goaltender joined the team late in the season and posted a 2-2 record while appearing in five games.

January 29th - February 4th

OFFENSIVE Player of the Week - MICHAEL JENKINS - Metros

The Metros' top scorer had a big week to help the team earn two victories over the Summerside Cover All Construction Crunch and North River Flames.  He had his second hat-trick of the year against the Flames, including the winning goal.

DEFENSIVE Player of the Week - KEENAN HAYDEN - Metros

The Metros' rookie has been playing really good hockey to finish off the regular season.  This week, he went 1-1 with a shutout victory against Summerside.  He was solid in the first part of the second period of the win when the Metros had to kill off three straight power-plays.

January 22nd - 28th

OFFENSIVE Player of the Week - COOPER CHURCH - IceDogs

Cooper is a recent addition to the Georgetown Tri County Insulfoam IceDogs and provided an instant boost to their offence.  He had four goals and two assists in three games including a hat-trick in a close loss to the league-leading Tignish Perry's Construction Aces.  Through his first five games in the league, he has racked up 11 points already.

DEFENSIVE Player of the Week - HUNTER BOUDREAU - Metros

The Metros' defenseman and team captain has been playing his best hockey lately.  Hunter is always called upon to kill penalties.  The Metros had two shorthanded goals against the Summerside Cover All Construction Crunch and one of them was set up by Hunter.  The Metros will be looking to Hunter as a team leader on the blue line to finish off the season and try and catch the IceDogs for third place.

January 15th - 21st

OFFENSIVE Player of the Week - CONNOR ANDREWS - Flames

In a busy week for the North River Flames, Connor had three goals and an assist to help the Flames come closer to clinching the second seed in the playoffs outright.  Connor is an overage player in his fourth year in the league and will be counted on to lead the club through the playoffs.

DEFENSIVE Player of the Week - JEAN-LUC DUGUAY - Flames

Jean-Luc had a 28-save shutout at Sherwood on Monday night.  It marked his second shutout of the season and he has a sparkling 1.25 GAA and .955SV%.  Both stats are best in the league.  He has only given up 10 goals in 8 games so far this season.

January 8th - 14th

OFFENSIVE Player of the Week - DANIEL MARTELL - IceDogs

Daniel had a huge performance with a hat-trick and two assists in a win over the Summerside Cover All Construction Crunch.  He also picked up another goal in the IceDogs' win over Sherwood.  In addition to his offensive play this week, he also contributed with his physical play.

DEFENSIVE Player of the Week - BRANDON BARRETT - IceDogs

Brandon shouldered the load between the pipes for the Georgetown Tri County Insulfoam IceDogs in two wins over the weekend and delivered in a big way.  He only gave up three goals in the IceDogs' wins which moved them into third place in the league standings.

January 1st - 7th

OFFENSIVE Player of the Week - NICK VANDERVELDEN- Aces

Nick had six helpers to help lead the Tignish Perry's Construction Aces offense to two more impressive road wins this week.  He had five of those assists against Sherwood on Monday night and a goal and an assist in a win over Summerside on Friday.

DEFENSIVE Player of the Week - DYLAN MUGRIDGE - Crunch

The Summerside defenseman played solid defense and picked up two goals to help contribute offensively in a win over Georgetown this week.  This is Dylan's second year in the league and after going scoreless last season, he has picked up four goals in his first 12 games this season.

December 25th - 31st

OFFENSIVE Player of the Week - BRAYDEN HANDRAHAN - Aces

Brayden scored a hat-trick and added two assists as the Tignish Perry's Construction Aces downed the Georgetown Tri-County Insulfoam IceDogs in the only game over the Christmas break.  The league's leading scorer increased his lead with his performance on the road in Georgetown.

DEFENSIVE Player of the Week - COLIN GAUDETTE - Aces

Colin picked up another solid road win after facing a good amount of shots from a gritty Georgetown team.  Colin has won his past 5 decisions and sits second in the league with a GAA of just 1.98.

December 18th - 24th

OFFENSIVE Player of the Week - JAMES DOYLE - Aces

James had a big week with seven points in two nights.  On Friday night at home he scored two in a victory over Sherwood and on Saturday night at APM Centre he lead the Tignish Perry's Construction Aces with a goal and four assists as they edged North River.

DEFENSIVE Player of the Week - KEENAN HAYDEN - Metros

The Metros had a tough task rolling into Georgetown with only 11 skaters, but they were able to come out with the two points due to a strong 37-save goaltending performance by Keenan.  He has won his last two starts with very strong performances and seems to be turning his season around as we head to 2020.

December 11th - 17th

OFFENSIVE Player of the Week - MARC CUMMISKEY - Metros

The Metros' veteran is in his fourth year and proving to be a team leader.  He had a great game against the Summerside Cover All Construction Crunch with four assists.  He set up the winning goal and set up three more.  He is key on the Metros' power-play that was 2-4 on the night.  The Metros expect Marc to have a great second half of the season.

DEFENSIVE Player of the Week - JEAN-LUC DUGUAY - Flames

Jean-Luc had a shutout vs the Georgetown Tri County Insulfoam IceDogs to allow the Flames to get back in the win column.  He stopped some dangerous shots and played well in the game, making 18 saves.

December 4th - 10th

OFFENSIVE Player of the Week - JAMES DOYLE - Aces

James had a hat-trick, including the winner as the Tignish Perry's Construction Aces downed the Georgetown Tri-County Insulfoam IceDogs on Friday night.  James is in his first full year in the league and scored three of his four goals on the season in his breakout game.

DEFENSIVE Player of the Week - KEENAN HAYDEN - Metros

Keenan had a huge start for the Metros as they ended a 5-game losing streak with a solid 5-2 win over the Summerside Cover All Construction Crunch on the weekend.  The win was Keenan's second of the season as Sherwood tries to right the ship and climb back up the standings.

November 27th - December 3rd

OFFENSIVE Player of the Week - BRAYDEN ARSENAULT - Aces

Brayden had a huge night offensively with five points to lead the Aces to their big win at Sherwood.  He already has 21 points in his first 11 games and sits second in the league in scoring.

DEFENSIVE Player of the Week - COLIN GAUDETTE - Aces

Colin recorded a shutout on the road in a route over the Sherwood Metros.  Colin turned aside all 23 shots he faced on the night.  Colin joined the team late last season but was key in the Aces' run to the Island Championship.  He has been lights out this year, leading all goalies with a sparkling 1.77GAA through his first five games.

November 20th - 26th

OFFENSIVE Player of the Week - REMI ARSENAULT - Crunch

Remi had a big night on Monday night in Sherwood, where he scored a hat-trick and added two assists to help the Summerside Cover All Construction Crunch to a big road win.  He also added an assist in a loss to Tignish on Thursday night.  This is Remi's third season in the league and he continues to lead the team in points with 11 over his first 7 games.

DEFENSIVE Player of the Week - DYLAN MUGRIDGE - Crunch

Dylan scored his first goal of the season in the opening minute of the game on Monday night to kick-start the Summerside offense in their win over Sherwood.  Dylan an be counted on to fight for the puck and help out his teammates.

November 13th - 19th

OFFENSIVE Player of the Week - TYSON GILLIS - Crunch

Tyson scored twice, including the winner, and set up another goal to help the Summerside Cover All Construction Crunch to their first victory of the season with a win over Sherwood on Saturday night in Crapaud.  Tyson has not put up big numbers offensively in the past, but his performance on Saturday night went a long way to getting the Crunch in the win column.

DEFENSIVE Player of the Week - RYAN CLORY - Flames

Ryan faced a potent offense through regulation, overtime, and a shootout, and was able to earn North River a big 4-3 victory at home on Saturday night over the Tignish Perry's Construction Aces.  Ryan has had a great start to the season, with three wins in his first four games.  Saturday's win put the Flames in first place.

November 6th - 12th

OFFENSIVE Player of the Week - CONNOR ANDREWS - Flames

Connor scored the winner late in the third period on Monday night in Sherwood to give the Flames the win.  He also had two goals in a tight loss against the Tignish Perry's Construction Aces on Saturday night.  Connor leads the Flames in scoring with 10 points.

DEFENSIVE Player of the Week - DONOVAN WYAND - IceDogs

Donovan scored the winner on a blast from the point on the power-play to lift the Georgetown Tri County Insulfoam IceDogs to their first victory of the season on Saturday night against Summerside.  He had a big night defensively as well to help keep the Summerside Cover All Construction Crunch to just one goal.

October 30th - November 5th

OFFENSIVE Player of the Week - THOMAS SHEA - Aces

Thomas scored two and set up two others as the Tignish Perry's Construction Aces downed the Summerside Cover All Construction Crunch on Friday night.  This is Thomas' first season in the league and he is off to quite a hot start.  He has ten points in his first four games.

DEFENSIVE Player of the Week - SUMNER DOCHERTY - Metros

The Metros' veteran goalie bounced back after a big loss last week.  He came up big when he had to against the IceDogs to secure a tight one-goal victory.  He made key saves when the Sherwood was down two men and once was in the final minute of the game.  The win gives the Metros some much needed momentum headed into next weekend when they face the two top teams in the league.

October 23rd - 29th

OFFENSIVE Player of the Week - BRAYDEN HANDRAHAN - Aces

Brayden had a huge offensive weekend to vault him on top of the early league scoring race.  The Tignish Perry's Construction Aces had two dominant victories and Brayden was the largest contributor offensively, putting up five goals and eight points.

DEFENSIVE Player of the Week - COLIN GAUDETTE - Aces

Colin stopped 25 of 26 shots for a big win in his first game of the season against Sherwood Metros.  Colin joined the team late last season and was a big contributor to the Aces Island Championship.  They will look to him once again to lead the team this season.

October 16th - 22nd

OFFENSIVE Player of the Week - ZAC MACKAY - Flames

Zac had two great games to start the season.  He had two goals, including the game winner vs the defending league champion Tignish Perry's Construction Aces in a 5-4 win.  He followed it up the next night with another game winner, leading the Flames to a 6-4 win.

DEFENSIVE Player of the Week - SAMMY DOCHERTY - Metros

The Metros' rookie defenseman has been a great addition to the team.  Sammy scored in his first game against North River on the power-play.  The Metros will be looking to Sammy as a team leader on the blue line and to help on the first power-play line.
