OFFENSIVE Player of the Week - BRANDON FORSYTHE - Aces
Brandon got his legs back after being sidelined till Christmas and having work commitments after Christmas that caused him to miss a lot of the season. He has been big in the first three games of the finals scoring big goals when the team needed them. As a big body in front of the net he is able to pounce on loose pucks and the Tignish Perry's Construction Aces are happy to have him back every night.

Colin played both road games for the Aces and even though they lost game one of the finals, he gave them a chance to mount a comeback and they fell just short. The Metros' rookie centered the third line and had a great season. The Metros' veteran goalie has been playing great in his final year with the Metros. James had a huge game in game five for the Summerside Cover All Construction Crunch to help them stave off elimination and force game six. McGuire came in relief of goaltending partner, Koby Bridges, who went down to an injury in game three and completed the shutout of the Flames. He then stopped 47 of 50 shots in game five to bring the Tignish Perry's Construction Aces to within a win of clinching the series.

The Metros' rookie had a great first season, finishing fifth in the scoring race with 40 points. He continues to play great hockey for the Metros with two good games in the semi-finals against the Summerside Cover All Construction Crunch. In game two he had the winning goal and in game three he set up the winning goal to help Sherwood earn a stranglehold on the series.

Jaxon has been a huge addition to the Crunch roster this season and has come up big in the playoffs. The high-scoring Metros have had their hands full with him and although he took two losses this week he stopped an incredible 76 shots and kept the game in doubt until the very end on both nights.

Connor scored a natural hat-trick over a five minute period in the opening period which was all the scoring the Flames needed as they held on for a 3-2 road victory in Crapaud on Saturday night over the South Side MacDonald's Excavation / EF MacPhee Lynx. Connor is in his third year in the league and is looking to hit his offensive stride that got him 42 points last season for the Flames.
