Playoff Format

This year's playoff format is shown above.  It is the same as the one used in 2006-07 when the league also had 6 teams.  Under this format, no teams are given first round byes and the top seeded loser from the first round advances to the second round.  The first round of the playoffs is scheduled to begin in the middle of February, with the playoffs scheduled to wrap up the week before the Atlantics which are scheduled for April 2-5th, 2009.
