PEI Minor Junior C Hockey League is in search of a title sponsor for the upcoming season. The benefits of being title sponsor are outlined below.
The league consists of players aged 18-20 and provides an opportunity for players who’ve completed minor hockey to continue playing competitively while beginning to pursue important commitments such as University and College. It ranges in size each year, but has in the past included as many as 300 players and 11 teams. After an exciting playoff season in February and March, an Island Champion is crowned and invited to the Maritime Hockey-North Junior C Regional Championships (www.juniorcatlantics.com). Each team runs an operating budget of $8,000 to $12,000 to pay for ice time, officials, travel, uniforms, etc., depending on how far they go into the playoffs. The league is unable to obtain enough funding from the teams to cover the costs of promotion and administration. Your sponsorship is the most viable alternative to ensure that it is affordable for players and that the league gets the coordination and leadership it needs. Should you be interested in becoming league title sponsor for the 2008-09 season, please contact Jared Doucette at 566-8546 (8am-5pm), 672-1886 (after 5pm), or peiminorjuniorc@hotmail.com. Benefits of Title Sponsorship:
- The league will be named after your company/organization
- Your name will appear on the league logo all printed materials & correspondence
- Our website will incorporate your company colours and logo into its design and provide links to your website to increase traffic
- You will receive a sponsor recognition plaque
- You will acquire the right to retain sponsorship annually
