Surge Earn Pre-Season Victory |

Ex-Pownal Red Devils, Josh Doran, Rob Christensen, and Jeremy Godkin lead the offensive charge as the Belfast Surge downed the North River Island Excavators Flames 7-3 on Saturday night at APM Centre in a pre-season contest.
Christensen (1-2), Doran (2-0), Dillan MacMaster (2-0), Godkin (1-2), and Greg Gillis scored for the Surge, while Ties Hakkers, Mike McQuillan (2), Kurtis MacEwen (2), Simon VanWeichen, Tyler MacPherson, and Blake Hume added assists.
For the Flames, Brad Vukecevic (1-1), Justin Holroyd (1-2), and Dan MacPhee (1-2) each bulged the twine, while Chris Arsenault had an assist.
Robert Stewart stopped 21 of 24 shots for the win, while Taylor Doyle made 15 saves and took the loss for the Flames.
