Thibideau Scores Shootout Winner

Travis Thibideau scored two goals in regulation and then scored the shootout winner as the Summerside Source For Sports Capitals edged the North River Island Excavators Flames 6-5 in a pre-season contest Friday night at Slemon Park.
 
Also scoring for Summerside were, Tyler Peters, Nathan Arsenault, and Zack MacDonald, with helpers coming from Cody Arsenault (2) and Tyler Dexter (2).
 
The Flames had scoring from Cameron MacMurdo, Craig Campbell, Ryan McGuigan (2), and Brad Vukicevic.  Assists came from Spencer Hay, Reed Gallant, and Logan LeClair.
 
Jacob Perry took the win in goal for Summerside, while Kurt Willis took the loss for North River.
 
The Capitals lead 3-0 after the first period, with the teams tied 4-4 after the second.
 
The Capitals outshot the Flames 54-37
