League Commissioner, Jared Doucette, will captain the Alumni Team which consists of several players who made an impact on the league in the past. Many players played baseball and/or hockey for "Hippie" in the past. It also includes players from the coaching staff of current teams in the league, Taylor Doyle (North River), and Mike O'Halloran (Tignish). Also on the team will be Kyle Osmond. Two years ago, when the league last had an All-Star Game under this format, it was also a benefit for Kyle who was undergoing cancer treatments at the time.
There will be a silent auction at the game with all kinds of great memorabilia and a donation box. Teams from within the league have donated their 50/50 proceeds on the weekend in both Belfast and South Side.
