The Razzy's Junior C Hockey League will have an All-Star Game on Wednesday, January 10th at 8pm at the South Shore Actiplex in Crapaud. The game will feature a league All-Star team facing off against a team of Alumni All-Stars from past seasons, a format used in both 2013 and 2015. Much like the All-Star Games in the recent past, the main focus will be to support a league member. South Side manager, Steve Watts, was involved in a serious motorcycle accident in October and is still recovering in hospital. Proceeds from the game will go to support him in his recovery. In past games under this format the league supported a player undergoing cancer treatment in 2013 and a coach recovering from heart surgery in 2015. Steve is in his 9th season as manager of the Lynx. He brought the team back into the league in 2009-10. He's lead them to the Island Championship in each of the past three seasons and has lead the committee that won the right to host the 2018 Maritime-Hockey North Junior C Championships this spring in Crapaud.
