At their home game on Saturday, November 21st at 8:00pm at the APM Centre in Cornwall, the North River Island Excavator Junior C Flames will be showcasing their new set of jerseys for the first time. The uniforms maintain the flaming horse crest with the home ones being white with red strips on the sleeves and the away uniform being red with black strips. The team will have matching socks for both new sets of jerseys. "Island Excavators are pleased to be the major sponsor of the Flames and to provide the new look uniforms for this junior C team" stated Wade Campbell of Island Excavators." This is an exciting brand of hockey and we are glad to be able to play a part in the team operations", added Campbell. The jerseys were manufactured by SP and were supplied via the Source for Sports outlet in Charlottetown. "Source for Sports is happy to be chosen as the supplier for the new Flames uniforms and we believe the Flames players will be proud to wear them", commented Brian King of Source for Sports. Mike Butler, Flames Manager, said, "Our players are really looking forward to seeing their new uniforms and I'm sure they'll be all proud to wear them for the remainder of this season."
Any fans wishing to see the new uniforms should be at the APM Centre on Saturday night for the Flames game versus the Pownal Red Devils.
