The South Side MacDonald's Excavation / EF MacPhee Lynx downed the Sherwood Metros 3-1 on Friday night to clinch the Island Championship series four games to two.
Brady Vandervelden scored the winner and Colton Dawson added an empty-netter as the Lynx edged the Sherwood Metros on Friday night in Charlottetown to clinch the title.

The Lynx are the 2015 Maritime-Hockey North runners-up and will look to get over the hurdle this year in Springhill.  You can follow the Lynx' progress starting this Wedenesday at MHNJrC.com.
