Colton has had a tremendous season. He lead the league in scoring, and this week played a big part in the South Side MacDonald's Excavation / EF MacPhee Lynx' opening weekend of the finals registering seven points in the first two games of the finals, including a hat trick.
Blake MacKenzie helped lead the Lynx defense to victories in games one and two of the finals. Blake has played the role of shutdown defenseman throughout the season and continued his solid play in the playoffs. His play and leadership have made him a good team player.

Affiliate Player, Logan Vandervelden, had an excellent weekend for the South Side MacDonald's Excavation / EF MacPhee Lynx. Friday night be recorded two points in an 11-1 win over the Aces in game two. Then on Sunday evening Logan was in on four of Southside's goals, including a natural hat trick, as they closed out the series and earned a birth in the final.
While his teammates were filling the opposing team's net, Jordan was shutting the door on his end and made 30 saves in game two of the Lynx series vs. Tignish. Jordan has a 5-1 (win/loss) record since joining the Lynx late in the season.
Feb. 24 - Mar. 2, 2016
Chase came up big with points on all five of the Tignish Perry's Construction Aces in the fifth and deciding game of their first-round series against the North River Flames on Friday night. Chase recorded a hat-trick by scoring the first three Tignish goals and then had helpers on the winning and insurance markers to round up his points for the night.
Jarrett scored the opening goal and added three assists in a series opening 9-2 win over the Aces. Mulligan played his usual solid defensive play in game one. The Lynx got production throughout the lineup in their first playoff game in defence of their league championship.

Zack MacDonald has been playing great lately for the Metros. In his last four games he has tallied 13 points and jumped into a fifth place tie amongst the scoring leaders for the league. This week Zack helped the Metros with six points in a 7-1 win against the Morrell Flyers. Also, Zack is now the top scorer for the team.

After serving a couple of lengthy suspensions early in the year, Luke has turned it around since the calendar switched to 2016 and has been an effective player for the Flyers. This weekend he picked up eight points including an assist on the game winning overtime goal on Saturday night in Morell. The overage player had only two points before this weekend. |

Ryley moved in to the top five in league points after the weekend. The overage player has points in 11 of his last 12 games and is a huge reason why the Aces have turned their season around. |

The Belfast Down East Auto Parts Sabres defence was hit with injuries recently and Matthew dropped back to defence and put in a solid performance in his own end. His play contributed to two more wins on the weekend which gave the Sabres a solid lead in the standings that brings them closer to clinching top spot headed into the playoffs. |

He had a stellar game a 2-0 victory over the first-place Belfast Down East Auto Parts Sabres with a 48-save shutout. He played tremendous all game, especially in the third period when he faced 22 of those shots and turned them all aside. |

He exploded Friday night with five straight goals against the Morell Flyers to help the Metros win. Sunday the Metros had a big overtime win against the first place Belfast Sabres and Harrison played a strong game at centre. |
