#7 ROB MILLER (F) - Lynx

Rob had a huge game in the South Side MacDonald's Excavation / EF MacPhee Lynx' series-clinching win over the Souris Hawks.  He also tallied in each of the first two games of the finals.  Rob has continued to be a strong offensive threat in the post-season after winning the regular season scoring title.

#33 CHASE DYMENT (G) - Aces

Chase played an outstanding game in the opener of the finals for the Tignish Perry's Construction Aces.  He turned aside a barrage of shots from the Lynx in the series opener to enable the Aces to take a 3-2 overtime win Crapaud.  He stopped 37 shots in the victory.

February 26th - March 4th, 2014

Offensive Player of the Week
#12 BRETT GAUDET (F) - Aces

Brett had a huge 8-point week including the double-overtime winner on Sunday night to catapult the Tignish Perry's Construction Aces to the finals.  He repeated his clutch play from two weeks ago when the Aces advanced over North River.  He is the leading goal scorer with 11 in just eight games in the post-season.

#31 JOHN MILLER (G) - Lynx

John came in before game #4 was two minutes old with a 3-0 deficit, but shut the door the rest of the way so that the South Side MacDonald's Excavation Lynx could claw their way back and force a fifth and deciding game in their series against the Souris Hawks with a victory.  He stopped all 25 shots in the victory.

February 19th - 25th, 2014

Offensive Player of the Week
#17 JORDAN ROCHE (F) - Hawks

Jordan scored two key goals three minutes apart, including the winner, to pull the Hawks within a game of advancing to the Island Finals and eliminating the top-seeded Lynx.  Jordan is tied for the league lead in playoff goals with six and is coming off a solid rookie season in which he was second in team scoring.

Defensive Player of the Week
#1 SETH NICHOLSON (G) - Hawks

Seth helped his team shock everyone and take 2-0 lead in their semi-final series versus the top-seeded South Side MacDonald's Excavation / EF MacPhee Lynx.  He was very busy and held the league's top team to just four goals in the opening two games of the series.  Seth has already won four games in the post-season after winning just 7 in the regular season.

February 12th - 18th, 2014

Offensive Player of the Week
#12 BRETT GAUDET (F) - Aces

Brett picked up a hat-trick in the Tignish Perry's Construction Aces' series clinching victory on Monday night in Cornwall over the North River Island Excavators Flames.  He also had two goals and an assist in their come-from-behind victory in game three as well.  Brett has been a key playoff performer in each of the last three seasons and has continued that trend so far this year.

#27 CONNOR LEA (D) - Sabres

Connor was key in a tight defensive series in which all four games were decided by just one goal.  Connor scored the series-clinching goal halfway into the third period in his fifth game into the season. The Sabres let just three goals against over the weekend (All powerplay goals) with only four defenceman both games. Connor
played strong in his own end and helped out offensively.

February 5th - 11th, 2014

Offensive Player of the Week
#93 DEREK CORMIER (F) - Hawks

Derek was a big factor in the 9-6 win over the Summerside Source for Sports Capitals to give the Souris Hawks a stranglehold on their series.  He set up three goals during the Hawks' shocking third-period comeback in which they erased a three-goal deficit with six unanswered goals in the final 20 minutes of that game.  He had a total of five points on the night.

#1 STEVEN LANNIGAN (G) - Falcons

Steve had a great week as the Falcons and Down East Auto Parts Sabres split their opening games.  Steven's loss was a 2-1 overtime result. His play has been strong, he kept the Falcons in both games. In the second game after the Sabres goal in the first, he shut the door until overtime.

#89 CODY GARNHUM (F) - Sabres

Cody had a huge eight-point weekend to finish the regular season for the Down East Auto Parts Sabres with a couple of victories.  He finished the season with 36 points in 20 games played.  Cody's in his fourth and final year and will be counted on to lead the team offensively in the post-season.

#35 KURT WILLIS (G) - Flames

Although his only game of the week was a 3-1 loss, Kurt kept the North River Island Excavators Flames in the game against the league-leading South Side MacDonald's Excavation / EF MacPhee Lynx on Saturday night despite having a short bench in front of him.  He made 55 saves when the Flames were within a goal of tying it for most of the game.

January 22nd - 28th, 2014

Offensive Player of the Week
#13 COLTON DAWSON (F) - Lynx

Colton had a big four-point night in another wild matchup between the South Side MacDonald's Excavation / EF MacPhee Lynx and Tignish Perry's Construction Aces.  He added another goal and two assists on the weekend as the Lynx clinched first place and a first-round bye in the playoffs with two more victories.

#60 CATLIN SONIER (G) - Capitals

Catlin helped the Summerside Source For Sports Capitals continue their hot run in January.  His two victories brought their record to 7-2 in 2014 and he was between the pipes in every game.  The Capitals have been climbing up the standings and have one more weekend to improve their playoff spot further.

#21 TYSON CARRAGHER (F) - Aces

Tyson recently joined the Tignish Perry's Construction Aces and has found early success. His five-point night Saturday, propelled the his team to an overtime win against the North River Island Excavators Flames.  He has 12 points in his first 10 games with the Aces.

#1 STEVEN LANNIGAN (G) - Falcons

Steven recorded his first shutout of the season, a 6-0 road win against Souris.  He held the Hawks scoreless over 110 minutes in back-to-back wins.  He was also strong in a 5-3 loss to the Down East Auto Parts Sabres on Monday night.  He's sparked the Falcons who've proved they will be a tough team to beat in the playoffs despite being the 7th seed.

#11 CAMERON MACMURDO (F) - Flames

Cameron scored nine points over the weekend as he lead the North River Island Excavators Flames to a record over three one-goal games.  The Flames' leading scorer moved into the top five in league scoring.  He has recorded points in all but three of his 20 games thus far this season and is having his best season offensively by far.

#18 ALEX HUGHES (D) - Falcons

Alex played two strong games defensively as the Sherwood Falcons picked up three of a possible four points on the weekend.  The Falcons win on Monday night versus Souris ended a long losing streak for Sherwood in which they lost a lot of very tight games.  The Falcons rookie picked up an assist in each of his games on the weekend.

#13 COLTON DAWSON (F) - Lynx

South Side MacDonald's Excavation / EF MacPhee Lynx rookie, Colton Dawson, continued to be an offensive force this week racking up six points in two victories to keep his team tied at the top of the standings.  Colton is second in the league in scoring with 35 points in 19 games.

#60 CATLIN SONIER (G) - Capitals

Catlin posted three wins, including a shut-out, while allowing just three goals over 180 minutes played.  He's tied for second in the league in wins (9) and his play this weekend suddenly moved the Summerside Source for Sports Capitals to within two points of third place after spending the first part of the season at the bottom of the standings.

#19 CODY McGUIRK (F) - Sabres

Cody set up the winner as part of a four-point night in Saturday's win over the Sherwood Falcons.  He followed that up with another helper on the game-tying goal in a shootout win in Souris on Sunday.  Cody's in his first full season in Junior C after playing last season with Sherwood's Junior B team.  He currently leads the Down East Auto Parts Sabres in scoring and is tied for second in the league's scoring race.

#31 JAKE HACKETT (G) - Aces

Jake earned his first victory of the season on Monday night in Sherwood and he did it with a 42-save shutout.  He has been used sparingly so far this season due to work commitments, but has been strong when he's been used and has only given up six goals in his three games played.  He has lead the Tignish Perry's Construction Aces to league titles in the past two seasons.

#14 RILEY SHEA (F) - Aces

Riley recorded all three points during the Tignish Perry's Construction Aces dramatic third-period comeback on Friday night at home against the Summerside Source For Sports Capitals.  He scored the third goal and assisted on the last two, including the winner, as the Aces erased a two-goal deficit to earn a 5-4 win.  Riley is currently second in league scoring.

#33 CHASE DYMENT (G) - Aces

Chase backstopped the surging Aces to another win on Friday night.  His 11-save third period allowed Tignish to earn a come-from-behind win against Summerside.  He's been the busiest goalie in the league this year by far with 851 minutes played and having appeared in 14 of the Aces' 16 games thus far.  The win versus Summerside enabled him to equal his win total from last season with his league-leading 10th win in 2013-14.

#6 TRAVEN GAUDET (F) - Aces

Traven was instrumental in the Tignish Perry's Construction Aces come from behind win against the Down East Auto Parts Sabres on Friday night with his three third-period goals.  On Saturday night he added another two goals in a tight 3-2 win over the North River Island Excavators Flames.  He scored the winning goal in both victories, including a late one in the North River game.

#29 TAYLOR DOYLE (G) - Flames

Taylor played a great game and got his league-leading second shut out of the season on Monday night against Sherwood. He stopped 41 shots in the victory.  He leads the league in save percentage with a sparkling .931 to this point.  In his fourth and final season, Taylor is on pace for his best season statistically as he currently boasts career bests in GAA, save %, and shutouts.

Offensive Player of the Week
#9 GREG ARSENAULT (F) - Capitals

Greg lead the Capitals to three of four points this past week, with a hat-trick and an assist in a 5-3 home win Friday night against Souris and a pair of goals in a tough 7-6 shootout loss in Crapaud to the league leading Southside MacDonald's Excavation / EF MacPhee Lynx.  Greg leads the Capitals in scoring with 15 points in 10 games.

#33 JASON WHITEWAY (G) - Sabres

Jason is only two weeks removed from his last defensive award and his two-game performance this weekend helped the Down East Auto Parts Sabres extend their win streak to 10 games.  He allowed just three goals over two tough victories at the Tignish Perry's Construction Aces and the next night at home against the North River Island Excavators Flames.

#17 ZACK MacDONALD (F) - Capitals

Zach leads the Summerside Source For Sports Capitals in goals scored and points, contributing to back-to-back victories. Zack had a goal in the Capitals 6-1 home win Friday over the Falcons, and contributed a goal and an assist in the Capitals 6-1 road win Saturday in North River against the Island Excavators Flames.  He's appeared in all 11 of the Capitals games thus far this season.

#31 JAKE CAMPBELL (G) - Capitals

Jacob allowed just one goal in the second of the Capitals' dominant victories this past weekend, for the Capitals third straight win.  This performance lead to his second consecutive win, following an OT shoot-out road win a week ago in Souris, where he faced 61 shots.

#67 JACK PANTING (F) - Sabres

Jack had a big weekend as the league's hottest team picked up two big wins.  He scored two goals in Friday's road win over the Summerside Source For Sports Capitals and followed it up with two more goals and two assists in a 6-0 blanking of the island champion Tignish Perry's Construction Aces at home on Sunday.  The overage player leads the Down East Auto Parts Sabres in scoring in his fourth and final season in the league.

#33 JASON WHITEWAY (G) - Sabres

Jason was solid, earning a rare shutout against Tignish, with Sabres' 6-0 blanking of the Aces on Sunday.  Jason appears to have the Aces number as he also had a shutout last January against a high-powered offence.  He is a third-year player from Montague.

#7 ROB MILLER (F) - Lynx

Rob established himself as the league's leading scorer with 12 points on the weekend in three victories for the MacDonald's Excavation / EF MacPhee Lynx.  Rob has been destroying his scoring pace from a very successful 2012-13 with a 2.50 points per game average through ten games.

John picked up a pair of victories as the Lynx took over the top spot in the league.  John has started the season with a sparkling 1.83 GAA through six games as the league's top goaltender statistically to date.  In his second year in the league his is vastly improving his statistics from a solid campaign last year.

The South Side MacDonald's Excavation / EF MacPhee Lynx rookie played a major role in helping his team pick up three points over the weekend while scoring a point in three of the team's four goals in a 4-2 win over the Tignish Perry's Construction Aces on Saturday night and picked up another helper in a shootout loss to Belfast on Sunday.

#77 BEN LADNER (G) - Sabres

Ben stopped an amazing 48 shots over three periods and overtime and also won the shootout against Lynx goaltender, Dylan Garnhum, as the Down East Auto Parts Sabres took a 3-2 decision on Sunday afternoon.  Ben has been the busiest of three goalies the Sabres have on their roster this season.  He's maintained a solid 2.93GAA so far this season, his first in the league.

Brett is a strong two-way player who has a hard shot and quick release for the Tignish Perry's Construction Aces. On Friday night against the Summerside Source For Sports Capitals he had two goals and two assists and on Saturday night he chipped in with two goals and an assist against the South Side MacDonald's Excavation / EF MacPhee Lynx to earn the Aces a four-point weekend.

#1 SETH NICHOLSON (G) - Hawks

The work horse between the pipes for the Souris Hawks helped the team pick up their third and fourth wins of the season to remain undefeated and climb to the top of the standings in the early going.  Seth has played in all four games for the expansion Hawks and has been a big part of their early success.

#10 CAMERON MACMURDO (F) - Flames

Cameron had a great performance this weekend despite the North River Island Excavators Flames 0-1-1 record. He played a lot on the penalty kill and showed a great leadership role. He had many blocked shots and helped out offensively with two points as well.  He's in his third year in the league and is from Summerside.

#5 ANDY MURPHY (F) - Lynx

South Side MacDonald's Excavation / EF MacPhee Lynx captain, Andy Murphy, led by example in opening weekend play in the Razzy's Junior C Hockey League. Murphy had one assist in the Lynx' 3-1 win over the Tignish Perry's Construction Aces on Friday and followed with two goals and two assists in the teams' 9-2 win over the Sherwood Falcons on Saturday.

Defensive Player of the Week
#1 TAYLOR DOYLE (G) - Flames

Taylor was extremely sharp and recorded the shutout in the North River Island Excavators Flames' 3-0 victory. Many of his saves were point blank as the Belfast Surge Energy Sabres outshot the Flames 34-23. Taylor is an overage player playing in his second season with the Flames after playing his first two season with Charlottetown.
