The Veteran forward was red hot through the month of January in leading the Flames to a 5-3 record as they continue to push up the standings. Godfrey tallied 4 Goals and 11 Assists through the 8 games which led all Junior C players. Godfrey will be leaned on heavy over the last few weeks of the season and into playoffs. Congratulations Daniel!

 

Second Star 

For the second time this season Barrett finds himself rewarded after turning in a stellar month between the pipes. Barrett compiled a perfect 4-0 record while earning a league best .934% and a .GAA of 1.76. Barrett along with Pippy-Docherty have been a dominant goaltending duo all season long for the league leading IceDogs who will be relying on strong performances from the both of them during their playoff run! Congrats again Brandon.

 

Third Star 

Sammy Docherty   -  Georgetown IceDogs 

After a slow start to the season Docherty turned things up in January recording 5 Goals and 8 Assists in leading Georgetown to 7 Wins and keeping the IceDogs at the top of the standings. Sammy will have to continue the hot play as the IceDogs will look to secure the top seed heading into playoffs. Congratulations Sammy!

Due to the circuit breaker which put our league to a halt for the better part of December we have decided to name 3 stars of the month instead of a weekly selection. It was an offensive display for Georgetown which snagged them two of the three stars while a third went to a veteran who continues to put up numbers despite team struggles.

Jenkins went on a tear this month recording 6 Goals and 4 assists in leading the IceDogs to 3 wins and sole possession of first place. Jenkins has been a threat all season long and will be looked upon heavily to keep it going through the second half of the season. Congratulations Micheal on a stellar month of December.  

 

Despite team struggles this season, Tyson has emerged as a leader and continues to step up and provide offense at an impressive pace. Tyson led the lynx in the month of December with 4 goals and 3 assists in 3 games. Beckingham will be leaned on heavily down the stretch as the lynx continue to get better each day as the season goes on. Congratulations to Tyson.

 

As we round out the three stars of the month we had back to Georgetown with another impressive display offensively. In three games White chipped in 2 goals to go along with 7 assists. After a slow start to the season White has really kicked things into high gear and has put his name near the top of the league scoring leaders. White will look to continue the hot streak as Georgetown has a busy 9 game January schedule. Congrats Cam on a great month!
